How I started a Blog in 2022

I finally did the damn thing and started a blog. After sitting on this for years, I purchased my domain and got a subscription with Bluehost. This has been a long time in the making since 2017 to be exact. I studied fashion merchandising in college and dreamed of working in fashion but later I learned that what I really wanted was to be a content creator. I set a goal to move to NYC and hopefully create a successful blog chronicling my life living in NYC. I started with a name, purchased a MacBook and DSLR camera, and was going to events, but I wasn’t writing about it.

Now that things have started returning to some normalcy, I decided I was going to do it. A lot has changed since I dreamt of this blog in 2017; I got married, had a baby, moved from NYC to Tx, tried to buy a house (more on that later), bought 10 acres, had another baby, and rented our first house. These life events are definitely something I will be talking more about, especially pregnancy since both of mine were high risk. But for now, here are some facts about me!

• I’m Jewish, born and raised
• I’m half Panamanian
• I’ll be married for 3 years in June
• I just had a baby 4 months ago this week, his name is Azriel. I also have a toddler name Adara and she’s 2
• We don’t post our kids’ faces on social media, it works for us
• We have a white standard poodle named Viserion (yes the dragon from GoT)
• I keep a kosher home, so you’ll find lots of recipes here
• I was born in Long Island. I actually moved to Tx at 12, went back to NY at 23, and moved back to Tx at 27. If we ever leave Tx it’s back to NY or NJ lol
